The objective of this post is to describe the best items for a poet at certain levels. This is intended for early poets obviously since it is progresses and is based around levels, but there may be a few items that are listed that are great from Level 1 and onward. Poets have it pretty easy as far as items go, compared to other paths. Most of our items cost less to buy new than to repair (Pearl charm *shutters*). Level 1-14: Hyun Moo/Totem Helm - Nice/average -ac, and little stat boost. Sea ring(s) (quested), Frost sabre, Spring gown/robes. *Recommended to keep buying the next level of Robe/Gown from the seem/seemstress all the way up to Earth. Level 15: Purple Rings - Not a poet specific item but great for that -ac you need at this level. Level 40: Fragile Roses - Easy to buy, nice little stat boost for their level, but very low dura so they are not that great of a hunting item. Level 50: Sen gloves - going to cost a lot to purchase and high repair, so not recomended till a higher. Can do Poet whip quest for a weapon, but a wicked staff is a reasonable comparison. Level 60: Pearl charm(helm) - Not better than a Totem helm, but has a good will increase, so some people tend to favor it for carnages to increase spell success rate. Level 66: Can start the Star quest for a better armor Level 70: White moon axe - Best pre-95 weapon for a poet to wear due to it's cheap repairs, non-BOD, and good stat bonus. Level 76: Can start the Moon quest for a better armor Level 86: Can start the Sun quest for a better armor Level 95: Purified Water - very cheap and affordable, and very great stat boosts/-AC for that level. Level 96: Can start the Wind quest for a better magical propertied armor for a bit of -AC sacrifice. -Dekker Edited by WiKiD | |
